Formerly named Renault F1 Team and owned by the Groupe
Renault (French automotive Company), was re-branded to promote their sports car
brand ALPINE.
Alpine F1 team ready to take debut test on 2021 Formula One
World Championship.
The team has revealed their car for the season 2021 with drivers
Esteban Ocon & Fernando Alonso by using Renault power unit.
The car pained as radiated blue, White and Red to show the
French smell into it. The Launch was different and innovative virtually happened.
Two-time world champion Fernando Alonso is waiting to catch
the car on track in front pole.

“It is a true joy to see the powerful, vibrant Alpine name on a Formula 1 car. New colours, new managing team, ambitious plans: it's a new beginning, building on a 40-year history."

"I'm very excited to be back in Formula 1 and to be
part of Alpine F1 Team's next chapter in the sport," "I've
been working hard to prepare myself for racing back in Formula 1 and the target
is to attack from the beginning.
"Driving the car for the first time is going to be a
very exciting experience and I hope both factories can Savior the moment. We
have a strong team and together with Esteban we must push on from last year and
deliver results.

“It is quite clear inside the team, Fernando has so much experience, he’s obvious a great champion, but the team is going to listen to me as well. I have the experience of the car from last year, we know the way we have to develop it.
“At the moment, Fernando says the same things. He brings his
opinion and yeah, it’s not too dissimilar. The team is trusting me for the
feedback I’m giving and for what we want to achieve. It’s not because Fernando
is coming, all the development is going to be his side. Not at all, that is not
the policy of the team and it will stay like that.”
New racing director is Davide Brivio, who is ex-Yamaha
Moto GP team boss whereas Laurent Rossi become the CEO of Alpine F1
team.
Last year Renault has finished 5th in constructor standing with
great struggle by McLaren and Racing Point.
Rossi said,
"This year our objective is clear, to continue the
momentum that was garnered last year and fight for podiums, our long-term
vision is to see the Alpine name on the top step of the podium in Formula 1."
"However, we have developed and improved every part
that has not been homologated, especially the back of the car"
Ex-Driver of Alpha Tauri Daniel Kvyat joined as reserve driver
for 2021.
He added,
“I am very excited to join the Alpine F1 Team family. The
team has achieved some great results in the past year and is very
technologically advanced. Development has been strong, and I am aiming to
contribute to this positive trend.
“I will try to bring my experience on and off track to help
develop the A521 and future cars as well. As a reserve driver you need to keep
sharp and I look forward to integrating into the team in several different
areas.”

CHASSIS: Moulded carbon fibre and aluminium honeycomb
composite monocoque,
Front Suspension: Carbon fibre top and bottom wishbones
operate an inboard rocker via a pushrod system. This is connected to torsion
bar and damper units which are mounted inside the front of the monocoque.
Aluminium uprights and OZ machined magnesium wheels.
Rear suspension: Carbon fibre top and bottom wishbones with pull
rod operated torsion bars and transverse-mounted damper units mounted inside
the gearbox casing. Aluminium uprights and OZ machined magnesium wheels.
Cockpit: Removable driver’s seat made of anatomically formed
carbon composite, with six-point harness seat belt. Steering wheel integrates
gear change paddles, clutch paddles, and DRS.
Transmission: Eight-speed semi-automatic carbon maincase
gearbox with reverse gear. “Quickshift” system in operation to maximise speed
of gearshifts.
Power Unit:
Renault E-tech 21 with ERS.
