Redbull is the famous energy drink by an Austrian Company created in 1987. They also stepped in Formula 1 for branding. Other hand, “Torro Rosso” is the Italian name translated from RED BULL.

Then and now “Torro Rosso Racing” is re-branding into AlphaTauri from 2020 to promote the fashion brand.

AlphaTauri is a fashion brand founded in 2016 as a brand extension of Red Bull into the fashion industry. The name is taken from Alpha Tauri, the giant red star of the Taurus constellation, and pays tribute to the founding company, Red Bull.

Its headquarters are in Salzburg, Austria.



2020-History

Pierre Gasly's first race victory and the first win for a French Formula One driver since Olivier Panis won the 1996 Monaco Grand Prix, 24 years prior.

AlphaTauri ended the year in 7th place on 107 points.

“It was really good. After spending some time with my family, especially for Christmas, I went with my coach to Dubai. I did the same last year and it worked really well, I felt really fit, so I adopted the same plan this time. In Dubai there are amazing training facilities and the weather is ideal for some outdoor exercise and I could push myself quite hard. Unfortunately, I tested positive for Covid at the end of January but luckily, I felt good, so I could continue training in my apartment. A slight cough for a couple of days did not stop me, I wasn’t tired at all, so I could go on with my training programme. I didn’t miss anything and I’m ready for the new season.”

"The use of Red Bull Technologies supplied gearbox, rear suspension and some front suspension components is now in its third year for us but for 2021 we have elected to continue with the same rear suspension and gearbox design as we used in 2020”.

"We've elected to use our two tokens for a new nose and also redesigned the outboard front suspension, as a result of this we have elected to update some Red Bull Technology supplied steering components to 2020 specification, as permitted by the Technical Regulations."
